چکیده

The File Broadcast Protocol (FBP) was developed as a part of the DETIboot system. DETIboot allows a host to broadcast an operating system image through an 802.11 wireless network to an arbitrary number of receivers. Receivers can load the image and immediately boot a Linux live session. The initial version of FBP had no security mechanisms. In this paper we present an authentication protocol developed for FBP that ensures a correct file distribution from the intended source to the receivers. The performance evaluations have shown that, with the best operational configuration tested, the file download time is increased

An Extended Identity Based Authenticated Asymmetric Group Key Agreement Protocol

Lei et al. [26] proposed a new asymmetric group key agreement protocol allowing a set of users to negotiate a common encryption key accessible by any user, and each user holds her respective decryption key. This enables the confidential message communication among group users, and grants any outsider to send message to the group. In this paper, an authenticated asymmetric group key agreement pr...

ARMS: An Authenticated Routing Message in Sensor Networks

In wireless sensor networks, a sensor node broadcasts its data (such as routing information, beacon messages or meta-data) to all its neighbors, which is called local broadcast. A general case for a sensor node to use a local broadcast is to advertise its routing information. Considering that sensor networks are vulnerable to a variety of attacks and current routing protocols are insecure, a se...

RSPAE: RFID Search Protocol based on Authenticated Encryption

Search protocols are among the main applications of RFID systems. Since a search protocol should be able to locate a certain tag among many tags, not only it should be secure against RFID threats but also it should be affordable. In this article, an RFID-based search protocol will be presented. We use an encryption technique that is referred to as authenticated encryption in order to boost the ...

Authenticated Key Exchange Protocols for Parallel

We study the problem of key establishment for secure many-to-many communications. The problem is inspired by the proliferation of large-scale distributed file systems supporting parallel access to multiple storage devices. Our work focuses on the current Internet standard for such file systems, i.e., parallel Network File System (pNFS), which makes use of Kerberos to establish parallel session ...

Identity-Based Authenticated Asymmetric Group Key Agreement Protocol

In identity-based public-key cryptography, an entity’s public key can be easily derived from its identity. The direct derivation of public keys in identity-based public-key cryptography eliminates the need for certificates and solves certain public key management problems in traditional public-key cryptosystems. Recently, the notion of asymmetric group key agreement was introduced, in which the...
